Magick Herbs

Here are just a few herbs from the many hundreds that are used as part of Magical spells.

CLOVE
Flowery Tops

Worn or carried to repel negative energies around you, carried in conjunction with other appropriate herbs for mental clarity, added with other herbs also for attracting love. When hung and strung together also said to protect babies in their cribs.

EUCALYPTUS
Leaves, Seeds (pods)
Healing, Sleep and Reconciliations. Used in sleep and dream sachets, place with other healing herbs for bringing healing especially for the chest area, hang in the home to ward off sicknesses, carry in an amulet or sachet to help in the reconciliation of relationship. But be careful, the other person must be willing.

HAZEL
Wood, Fruit
Wisdom, Protection and Fertility. The Wood is used for all magickal tools, Especially good in all luck wishes. A sachet of the fruit of the tree is given to new brides for luck in marriage and fertility. Place the sprigs up high in the room for a powerful magickal protection and luck.

HONEYSUCKLE
Flowers
Divine Inspiration, Peace and Balancing also Prosperity Fill a sachet and wear it or light a scented candle for clairvoyance or crush the flowers and rub into the forehead for psychic powers. Place flowers in a herbal bath for balancing yourself when feeling out of sorts. Add to all prosperity oils.

PATCHOULI
The whole Herb
Passionate Love, Fertility, Business Growth. Used primarily in attracting a powerful passionate love. Burned for new business growth and also placed in the garden to help it grow healthy. Worn in a sachet or an oil for fertility. Also used with other Earth element herbs for divination and increasing psychic awareness.

SAGE
Sage is burned in smudging ceremonies to drive out evil spirits, negative thoughts and feelings, and to keep negative forces away from areas where ceremonies take place. Sage is also used for keeping sacred objects from negative influence, such as a wand & crystals.

How to Smudge

Burn clippings of the herb in a brazier or with an abalone shell. If the herb is bunched together in a small bundle, you light the end of the bundle that isn't woody and use that. Direct the smoke with your hands over the person or object you wish to smudge. If you can see Auras, look for discoloured places and direct the healing smoke over those places on the patient's body. For cleansing of a house or room take a sage bundle bunched together and go throughout the inside of the house or room making sure the smoke penetrates every corner of the house.
