Candle magick

For centuries Candle rituals & Magick have been practised. Who hasn't blown out their birthday candles and made a wish? Candle Magick is very similar. You light the candles, close your eyes and visualize your wish coming true, whilst you chant particular magick phases.
Its effectiveness is based on a combination of the need or desire, and the ability to visualize the outcome. Successful magick is all about will power, the power of positive thinking, and creative visualization.
If you can do these things then you will send those vibrations out into the universe and eventually they will materialize.
There are many different coloured candles you may use for different meanings. Here is a table of the colours and what they represent.

Red: love, health, sex, strength
Green: money, luck, fertility
Black: discord, evil, negativity, confusion
Pink: love, morality, healing
Purple: power, spirituality
Light Blue: tranquillity, patience, health
White: protection, cleansing & if you do not have another color this can be used.

The candles you use for any type of magick should be unused. Do not use a candle which has already been partly used. Since vibrations picked up by second-hand materials or equipment may disturb your workings and stop their effectiveness there is a good reason for not using anything but virgin materials in magic.
When you have completed your ritual, allow the candle to burn down completely. You do not need to stay with the candle after the ritual, but please make sure that is safe
If you are conducting a magical ritual which involves two people, the second person must be symbolically represented during the ritual by another candle. All you need to do is find out the persons birth date and burn the candle for that Sun sign.
